If you are wondering who the movie stars are in the Santa picture at the top, let me help you out! The baby on Santa's knee is my sister Cindi and I am the one in the black pearl hat and tailored coat. I picked the picture to add to the celebrity line-up as I feel that of all my dolls , this particular molded lash walker reminds me most of the way I looked as a child ! Ok so I'm no Natalie Wood but I am having a little fun here! If you look closely Ginny and I are dressed almost the same!! This super 1956 MLW Ginny #6186 complete, came to me recently while I have been going through a difficult time health wise. I honestly think she was heaven sent! Thanks so much , Susan! I love her!

This case is wonderful and vintage. I believe it went to a vintage Madame Alexander Wendy-kin doll. It suits Ginny just perfectly and is one of the nicest cases I have ever seen with great brass fittings. It opens on two sides. Under the doll are secret compartments for storing doll accessories. The right side also opens behind the umbrella decal and there is place to hang doll clothes and a top spot for doll hats. The decorations are so classic 50's! |
