Binnie and Bunky made by Vogue today as part of
their "new" vintage line.
The dolls are strung like the original dolls of the 50's
and the outfits are very similar in fabric and style.
I left the hairnets on and the silver tags read "Vogue Doll"
...of course!
Welcome to my Howdy Doody Kitchen !
On this page you can tour the middle and left side of the room!
There are a few pieces of vintage Argo furniture :
The side of the fridge that has the cream painted door,
the yellow table and chair set in back
( I have 4 chairs but the set was sold with two),
the sink unit with yellow counter top and pull out Lazy Susans,
and a small Argo coffee table not shown.
The cottage chairs, lamp, and wooden table are by Pert Pat
The yellow metal and wood kitchen set is vintage and the paper decorations
and memorabilia were added by me
Howdy (above) drinks a cup of Ovaltine
as you can see in his hand!
Many of vintage kitchen dishes and food accessories are
from the 60's Deluxe Reading Dream Kitchen set
I keep adding more items. I am possessed!
The pieces are clearly to scale for this yellow kitchen
and the color combination is so very retro...!
You have to wonder who the heck was Rex? LOL!
Bunky grabs some food from the fridge. He is about to
play a Howdy Doody 45 on the Howdy record player near his feet.
...That's if he can find the plastic circular center insert!
(Remember losing those when you switched from 78rpm to 45rpm? )
You can also see a Howdy green uke and the box it came with.
This is a 60's My Merry Party room set
still in the original box (missing two red candle holders.)
There is a blue cake container, sponge cake
(obviously no pun intended), candles,
Jumbo clown straws and a pitcher with cups!
The party set looks perfect on the kitchen wall!
Dig in, Howdy!
Buffalo Bob , Howdy, and the gang!
Sometimes Howdy drives Bob crazy!
"Be nice, will ya Howdy?"
Above you can see a Howdy comic book collection
& some golden books below.
I made my own plastic Howdy Doody plates like the real ones! Ha!
Zippy kisses Howdy Flub-a-dub
